Shaldon zoo offers a perfect place to visit for young and old alike. Set in around one acre of enclosed woodland the Trust is home to a unique collection of the world’s most endangered animals, many of which are not found in larger zoos. They have the world’s smallest monkey who live with the mouse-deer, the smallest hoofed animal. Other attractions include Marvin and Hope the well-known meerkats, pair of beautiful ocelot cats, three groups of lemurs, free-roaming geckos and poison-dart frogs in the bug room and much more.
